VISA REQUIREMENTS/INVITATION LETTER
It is your sole responsibility to take care of visa requirements. If you require an entry visa, you must allow sufficient time for the visa application procedure. Your registration details might be shared with the immigration authorities to assist in the immigration process. However, RSA Conference will not contact embassies and consulates on your behalf.
To receive an invitation letter for RSA Conference, you must first register and pay the registration fees in full. You will have the option to request an invitation letter during the registration process. Also note that invitation letters are only issued to Full Conference attendees and exhibitors.
If you are not granted a visa, the registration fees will be reimbursed (less a $25 administrative fee) if, and only if, you provide firstname.lastname@example.org with an official document from local immigration authorities, showing the visa rejection and that the application was made at least one month (May 6, 2022) before RSA Conference.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK OF COVID-19
You understand that participation in events and travel to and around San Francisco will increase your risk of exposure to, and contraction of, communicable diseases, bacteria, agents and viruses such as COVID-19. Regarding COVID-19, you acknowledge and understand that COVID-19 is a highly contagious and dangerous disease that spreads easily through person-to-person contact. You further acknowledge and accept that participating in RSAC carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid such risks, that there is presently no known way to provide complete protection from the virus, and that you could contract COVID-19 even while RSAC has taken reasonable steps to prevent the risk of transmission of COVID-19. In participating in RSAC, you assume these risks and agree to release and hold harmless RSAC and RSA Security LLC, the facilities, their employees and representatives of and from any damages, losses, injuries, liabilities, claims and expenses arising from the contraction or spread of COVID-19, due to your travel to, from, or participation in any aspect of RSAC. This agreement is binding on you and on your successors and heirs.
All attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend RSA Conference, and all related events, including all evening events.
For all onsite passes: A government issued photo ID is required to collect RSA Conference credentials/badges. Photocopies and electronic copies are not considered an acceptable form of ID.
RSA Conference-issued credentials are the sole property of RSA Conference Organizer and must be surrendered upon demand to RSA Conference and/or RSA Conference Organizer representatives.
For onsite/physical pass holders, RSA Conference-issued credentials must be prominently displayed while at RSA Conference or designated off-site activities. Badge swapping and/or sharing is strictly prohibited. Any attendee found using another attendee’s badge or loaning out their badge to another individual will have the badge confiscated and will be removed from the premises without refund.
False certification of an individual as an exhibitor’s representative, misuse of an exhibitor’s badge, or any other method or device used to assist unauthorized personnel to gain admittance to the exhibit floor (Expo), will be just cause for expelling the exhibitor and his representative(s) from the exhibit floor and/or banning them from future entrance into the Expo. This would also warrant the removal of the exhibitor’s booth from the floor without obligation on the part of RSA Conference Organizer for refund of any fees. The exhibitor, his/her employees and agents, and anyone claiming to be in the hall through the exhibitor, waives any rights or claims for damages arising out of the enforcement of this rule.
For all Digital Pass holders:
Please note: Login credential swapping and/or sharing is strictly prohibited. Any attendee suspected or found using another attendee’s login credentials or loaning out their credentials to another individual will have their credentials revoked without refund.
SHARING YOUR CONTACT DATA WHEN SCANNING YOUR BADGE
You may be asked to scan your badge by event association partners (who host seminars, tutorials, or trainings the week of Conference), exhibitors, and/or sponsors for the purposes of conducting business and marketing communications regarding their own products or services. If you agree to have your badge scanned, you are agreeing to allow RSA Conference to share your contact data with the third parties that scanned your badge. At this point, you will be subject to the third party’s communications and privacy practices. If you wish to opt-out or exercise any appliable privacy rights you may have regarding these third-party communications, you must exercise those rights directly with those third parties. Note that scanning your badge is optional and you may refuse.
With respect to session rooms, scanning of your badge is required in order to use the “reserve a seat” option and to receive a session entry in the session attendance report.
PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO, AND VIDEO RECORDING
RSA Conference is held in a public space, therefore RSA Conference Organizer does not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations or other companies from photographing RSA Conference activities. You may be photographed or videotaped while attending the event. You agree and accept that such photographs or videos of you may be used for future RSA Conference marketing materials. No remuneration will be provided for use of your image.
Video and audio recording of our content is strictly prohibited unless you have obtained express written consent from RSA Conference.
Recording Disclaimer for Digital participation: By participating digitally, you agree and accept to allow RSA Conference, its affiliates, agents, and licensees to record your avatar, likeness, voice, and/or username and to own, license, assign, and use the same (or any portion) in the production, exhibition, and promotion of the event, RSAC products and services without compensation, in any media and on any platform now known or hereafter devised (including the Internet) throughout the universe in perpetuity. You waive the right to bring action of any kind in law or equity against RSAC.
SOLICITING DURING THE CONFERENCE
Suitcasing, outboarding guerilla marketing or similar marketing tactics are prohibited at RSA Conference. RSA Conference Organizer reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove any individual from RSA Conference who is reported to be soliciting during Conference and who is not a RSA Conference sponsor or exhibitor. RSA Conference Organizer encourages attendees to support the paid sponsors and exhibitors who, in turn, are supporting the industry. RSA Conference Organizer also encourages you not to listen to a sales pitch from a non-sponsor or exhibitor.
The use of Drones/Unmanned Aircrafts (“UAV”) is strictly prohibited at all times throughout the entire Venue and the adjacent areas outside of the Venue. UAV’s are devices that are used or intended to be used for flight in the air with no onboard pilot (either controlled manually or through an autopilot using a data link to connect the pilot to the UAV).
UNAUTHORIZED INTERCEPTION OF DIGITAL DATA
Any unauthorized effort to intercept digital data is strictly prohibited.
Examples of this are:
Collecting electronically transmitted data without consent of the owner of that data.
Collecting electronically transmitted data with consent of the data owner, but under fictitious pretenses.
This includes but is not limited to the following technologies used when collecting data under deceptive or nonconsensual means:
Bluetooth wireless technology
In its sole discretion and without refund, RSA Conference Organizer reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from RSA Conference anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to RSA Conference or any other attendee.
It is the policy of RSA Conference to, where applicable, provide any technology and/or event related services in accordance with all applicable laws within the United States and in other jurisdictions where it conducts business. As such, RSA Conference may prohibit any attendee, company, or individual registering from a restricted country or territory from event registration. All decisions are in RSA Conference’s sole discretion and shall be considered final.
The views expressed by any RSA Conference attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of RSA Conference or RSA Conference Organizer. All RSA Conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporate presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.
By attending sponsored live or on demand sessions (live or on demand Sponsor Track Sessions and on demand Expo or Early Stage Expo Briefing Center Sessions), you agree that RSA Conference may share your contact data with the sponsors of those sessions. By purchasing a tutorial or training package, you also agree that RSA Conference may share your contact data with the partner hosting the tutorial or training that you choose to attend. You will then be subject to the communications and privacy policies of that entity and must opt-out with them directly.
In order to receive CE (continuing education) credits, registrant acknowledges certain personal information will be shared with participating association partners by RSA Conference for the purpose of completing the mandatory authority (e.g., member number and/or portal email address).
CODE OF CONDUCT
You are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct available at https://www.rsaconference.com/about/code-of-conduct. Event organizers will enforce this code and expect cooperation from all RSA Conference participants (e.g., attendees, speakers, media, sponsors, volunteers) to help us promote a safe and enjoyable RSA Conference experience for everyone.
RSA Conference Organizer shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, pandemic, contagions, health crises, travel restrictions, epidemics, the availability of the Venue (if applicable), or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of RSA Conference Organizer or its subcontractors such as power grid failures, internet outages, cyber warfare, cyber-attacks, ransomware attacks, cyber sabotage, civil war, sabotage or piracy. RSA Conference does not accept any liability on account of unavailability, interruptions, errors or viruses or harmful components. For one or more of such reasons, RSA Conference Organizer may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of RSA Conference Organizer. In the event RSA Conference cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, RSA Conference Organizer shall not be liable to attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses. RSA Conference Organizer will review refund and/or fee transfer requests, submitted in writing, for approval on a situational basis.
RSA Conference reserves the right to update and change any part or all of these Registration Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying you first. If any changes to these Registration Terms have a material effect to the privacy of the individuals, RSA Conference will ensure to follow applicable privacy regulation obligations. If we update or change these Registration Terms and Conditions, the updated Registration Terms and Conditions will be posted on our RSA Conference website. By registering you hereby consent to these Registration Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
