Although some of you may be recovering from our APJ event and others may be gearing up for this fall’s Abu Dhabi conference, we are already underway in our efforts to plan U.S. 2018. As many of our veteran attendees know, every year RSA Conference is built around a different theme, which highlights a significant aspect of information security. This year’s theme is “Now Matters.”

As we become more dependent on the latest and greatest gadgets, more and more of our personal lives are becoming digital - whether we like it or not. With that is the inevitable realizations that cyberthreats are looming larger than ever, with more opportunities for cybercriminals to strike. 

When a threat can impact enterprises across the globe in minutes or hours, solutions for these cyberthreats can’t wait for tomorrow. We need to find them today. That’s why RSA Conference is here. Since our inception in 1991, it has been our mission to advance the field of cybersecurity. However, recent events have put our entire community at center stage. Cyberthreats are at an all-time high. Businesses and governments alike feel like they are hanging in the balance. With that mindset, those in need turn to those of us that can make a difference to stop these threats. Let’s be honest, all eyes are on us. 

Now that the cybersecurity conversation has moved into the boardroom, we need to capitalize on our newfound stature to make sure the right policies are being implemented…the right priorities are being set…and the right decisions are being made.
