Bree Fowler

Bree Fowler is a Senior Tech Reporter specializing in digital security and privacy. She also covers smartphones, wearable technology and other emerging tech. Before joining Consumer Reports, she worked as a reporter for the Associated Press for 16 years, including serving as a national technology writer focused on cybersecurity. In addition to writing for Consumer Reports, she frequently appears on our TV show, Consumer 101 as well as on national TV news shows and channels such as NBC’s Today, CBS This Morning, CNBC, WGN, NPR and ABC Radio. She holds degrees in journalism and political science from Michigan State University.
