Apu Kapadia
Associate Professor of Computer Science and Associate Director, Security Program, Indiana University Bloomington
Apu Kapadia is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering, Indiana University Bloomington. Before joining Indiana University, he received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, was later a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Dartmouth College and then a Member of Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Kapadia is interested in topics related to computer security and privacy. He is particularly interested in accountable anonymity; pervasive, mobile, and wearable computing; and human factors. For his work on accountable anonymity, two of his papers were named as “Runners-up for PET Award 2009: Outstanding Research in Privacy Enhancing Technologies.” He has received eight NSF grants and a Google Research Award.
