Bob Lawton

Bob Lawton is the Chief of Mission Capabilities in the Science and Technology Group at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. He currently leads the research and development of scientific and technical solutions that fill critical Intelligence Community mission requirements. Bob is a career intelligence officer, and has managed numerous technical research and analytic programs for almost two decades. During his tenure, he has worked at the forefront of anticipating and evaluating technology advancements and their impacts to US national security and strategic competitiveness. Bob is a US Army veteran and deployed to multiple overseas theaters.
